We’re throwing it back to 2021, where we had the gorgeous Immy and Callum here at Wellington Barn for their cozy, autumnal, wedding.
Summer weddings here at the barn are beautiful, but our event manager Alice’s favourites are the autumn ones! The colors the trees go, coupled with our rustic barn make for the most amazing setting for your special day, which we think was captured perfectly by the talented Alex Buckland Photography in Immy & Callum’s photos!
Callum arrived an hour before the ceremony for final preparations and to greet his guests with his groomsmen.
Immy arrived shortly after in style, in the quirkiest little wedding car! How she, the driver and her father all fit in the car was a mystery!
Immy had chosen to have a bouquet full of bright, warm, autumnal colored flowers, to match her flowers around the venue, provided by Lillies Rose, Wincanton.
At 2pm, Immy walked down the aisle to her groom to begin their ceremony.

After the ceremony the wedding party headed outside for some photos, and they were blessed with some glorious autumn sunshine!
At 4pm the guests were sat down for the wedding breakfast, before the new “Mr & Mrs Harkness” were introduced into the room for the first time! After this there were several speeches, and the cutting of their beautifully crafted “wedding cake”, a tower of individual cupcakes with a smaller cake on top, created by The Fairy Cakery.
Later on in the evening, there was a surprise for the guests, as a firework flyover was scheduled, as well as some sparklers for everyone to enjoy!
After the wedding, our event manager Alice received a lovely email from Immy & Callum;
“We just want to say such a huge thank you for everything you did to make our wedding the most perfect day. I know to you guys we are just one of many weddings, but you really made us feel so special. You decorated the Barn and tables beautifully I couldn't believe how much thought and detail you put into using our decorations, honestly it's truly touching.
On a personal note I would like to thank you as well for your kind words when I needed them. You gave me such confidence when you greeted me, comforted me and gave me the boost I needed to walk down the aisle that really was special Alice and I'll never forget that.
Your team were incredible and we enjoyed their company. They were so friendly to everyone they really are a credit to your beautiful venue.
I hope the rest of 2021 and into next year goes incredibly well for you all at Wellington Barn, our day was beyond our expectations, you really made our dreams come true.”
