Thursdays are the new Saturday in our world. We offer a package deal from Monday – Thursday which includes venue hire, accommodation, and a traditional and delicious 3-course wedding breakfast for 50 people.
Our local wedding suppliers are always delighted when a mid-week wedding is booked because they enjoy filling their mid-week diary which means that this could also provide better rates and special deals – a handy money-saving tip!
If you provide plenty of notice to your guests to take a day, or 2 off they won’t mind.
Friday or Sunday weddings are less desired which means that there are more options for you. It also means that your ideal wedding suppliers will probably have more availability options too!
If you and your guests like to party then a Friday wedding may be more ideal than a Saturday! Guests won’t be traveling back the next day and it gives them time to enjoy the beautiful Wiltshire countryside and visit some of our quaint little towns and villages. If you’re not a party person then perhaps a Sunday would suit you more as it gives the perfect excuse for guests to leave a little earlier.
Having a Friday or Sunday wedding could provide you with the opportunity to add an additional celebration to your weekend. Most guests will earmark the entire weekend for your special day so why not add another smaller event such as a brunch, a rehearsal dinner, or group activity on the days before or after the wedding day?
