Why did you book Wellie Barn for your Wedding Venue?

Wellington barn was the first venue we looked at after a family recommendation and we didn't end up looking at any further venues because as soon as we visited the venue in person we knew it was the place we wanted to get married in! Before we even stepped inside we were blown away by the surroundings and how beautiful it would look for wedding photos. Inside was just as amazing, exactly the style of venue we imagined ourselves getting married in and there was so much space to allow us to add our own personal touches.

What was your favourite part about planning your Wedding?

We loved being able to create a wedding day that really felt like 'us' we wanted something quite relaxed and informal and Wellington Barn offered so many different options that we were able to do this. We had a buffet style breakfast instead of your traditional sit down meal so it was really fun picking out and trying all the delicious foods. We also opted to provide our own drinks and Wellington Barn set up such an amazing drinks display for after the ceremony which the guests absolutely loved! it was just really nice to have our own twists on the day and Wellington barn made that possible.

What was your favourite part of your day?

It's so hard to pick just one part as the whole day was amazing but I think just being able to look around and see all of our family and friends in the same room and having a great time was really special.

What advice do you have for future Wellie Barn Couples?

Don't stress! it can feel really overwhelming on the run-up to the big day and you might be worrying about making sure everything goes perfectly but the Wellington Barn team really do know their stuff and they are there to make the day run smoothly, we honestly didn't have to stress about anything on the day as it was all taken care of - and to be honest, even if something didn't go exactly to plan we wouldn't have noticed or cared because we were on cloud 9!

What song makes you think of your Wedding Day?

This will be (An everlasting love) by Natalie Cole as this was the song we chose to walk back down the aisle to as a married couple!

What is your favourite photo from the day?

Probably this one of us and our 4 year old lab, Moose. It was really important for us to have him included in our special day!
